The Raw Vintage RVTS-1 Tremolo Springs are a great replacement for the springs in your guitar. They work extremely well in other relic or vintage instruments, keeping the responsive, bright tones in tact. They also preserve the fat and springy sound Strats are known for and they'll last for years!

What Raw Vintage have to say about their Tremolo Springs:

"One of the biggest fears vintage guitar users face is when parts of the guitar are in need of replacement, how is this going to my vintage tone? After years of use, the mechanical parts of vintage guitars will deteriorate resulting in unplayability or loss of tone. More and more users are realising that "Raw Vintage" Pure Steel Saddles are the answer to restoring that vintage sound. But tremolo springs are just as vital to retaining that fat 50's & 60's Stratocaster mojo.

The Problem: Most tremolo springs manufactured today are hard with strong tension and we are 0.8mm thinner than vintage springs. This not only affects the tone, but the feel as well.

The Solution: When using "Raw Vintage" Tremolo Springs, in sets of 4 or 5, the change in weight and tension provide superb torque feel and stability creating fatter tone and thicker reverb.

"Raw Vintage" Tremolo Springs are a great replacement for your Vintage Reissue or Relic Guitars as well. So even if you are not an owner of a vintage guitar, you can still enjoy the characteristics of the real Vintage sound."

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
