This October, Sound Affects is bringing the first annual Liverpool Guitar Experience to the Park Hotel in Aintree. The event will feature special guests, demonstrators and workshops, with some of the biggest brands in the guitar industry presenting you with their best and latest products.

Not Just Another Guitar Show

The guitar experience is a small-scale event with a massive line-up. Its focus is on providing an exploration into boutique products, from their manufacture, through to their arrival in our store, our biggest brands will be in the building; You can visit their stands and explore their gear with the company themselves. See below for who will be with us.

We will be bringing some of the finest guitars, amplifiers, effects, and accessories we have in stock. We will also be announcing an exciting service on the day exclusive to Sound Affects that will give our customers the opportunity to enjoy a much wider range of our products than they may have been able to before - speak with us on the day to find out more!

Who will be with us on the day?

 ·  Adrian Thorpe of ThorpyFX will present a session where he will be discussing his brand and his products, and provide insight into what it takes to design a boutique pedal.

 ·  The Guitar Hour Live Broadcast – David Beebee, Dan Smith and Dave Brons will be with us, streaming their famous guitar hour show live at the event. See the excellent guitarists doing what they do best – entertaining us with excellent playing, gear and music discussion and much more – in the flesh!

 · Aziz Ibrahim will be performing, among many more acts.

We will be hosting some of the biggest brands in guitar, amplifier and effect manufacture.

 ·  PRS Guitars will be with us on the day, bringing some exclusive guitars for you to enjoy. Find out about the various models and classes of guitars in one of the biggest electric guitar companies in the world.

·  Taylor Guitars will also be at the event, where you can get to grips with their guitars, and explore the new renowned V-Class bracing system for yourself

·  Boss FX will be around, showcasing everything from their classic pedals, through to the flagship GT-1000 Model and the latest in their series of KATANA amplifiers

 · Orange Amplifiers, Marshall, Blackstar, Victory and more will be with us on the day

 · D’Addario Will be on hand, providing a free re-stringing service – bring your guitar along (booking required)

 The event takes place at the Park Hotel on Dunnings Bridge Road, L30 6YN, which is within a short distance of the M57 and the M62. We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
