About the Carl Martin Surf Trem

"First up we tried the Surf Trem and with excellent results, it proved to have a lush 50s Fenderish style tremolo effect with an un-choppy deep swish and smooth wave form that sounded great. Switching the pedal in and out several times revealed that it did not color the tone at all and did not add any noise, clean and transparent, just adding the an outstanding tremolo effect. We compared the Surf Trem to the tremolo circuit in the Fender Bandmaster, and could get them to sound nearly exactly the same, in fact we almost preferred the Surf Trem because of its ability to produce a deeper effect and its wider range of speed settings" - Vintage Guitar Magazine

Carl Martin Effects are all designed in Denmark and used by some of the most respected Musicians gigging today. Endorsee's include Pete Thorn, Johnny Marr, Brian Ray, Andy Timmons and Joe Bonamassa.

The Carl Martin Pro Range includes Overdrive Pedals, Such as the Pelxi Drive and AC Drive and Modulation Pedals such as the  Chorus & Tremovibe. The new Vintage Series are now available in a compact chassis at a cost-effective price.

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
