We are thoroughly excited to be stocking the handcrafted, luxury L-Series guitars from Yamaha, including the LSX26C.

This guitar features a smaller, folk-sized body which offers fantastic dynamic and tonal response for fingerpickers and other intricate styles of playing. Vintage aesthetics make this guitar appear more traditional, with open gear tuners and subtle rosette, finished in a beautiful sunburst.

This guitar has been A.R.E treated - Yamahas exclusive process of artificially ageing the tone woods used in the guitar. The result is a brand new guitar that sounds like it has been played for many years - warm, resonant and rich in tone.

Each guitar in this series has been hand-crafted by a single luthier from start to finish. This means that one person has been able to develop and shape this guitar at every stage of the build, controlling quality levels & minor details, and making each instrument a concentrated labour of love from the luthier - A level of care you rarely see even on guitars at this price - and the result is truly breathtaking.

The Soundboard has been tap-tuned on this guitar. This is a traditional process used when hand-making string instruments where the luthier will tap the soundboard in certain areas to analyse the resonance of the wood. He/She will then adjust the thickness of the soundboard and bracing to suit that particular guitar, making it vibrate at its most optimal level.

All these features and details leave us with a guitar that looks stunning, plays fantastically, and sounds as if someone cared when they built it - which in our opinion, they definitely did.

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
