The Faith Naked Series is an excellent value-for-money range of acoustic guitars which features an all-solid construction, and we have a limited number of instruments which we have at an even better value discounted price. The guitars are very minor B-stocks and each one has been inspected by ourselves. Please see our condition notes for an in-depth description of the flaw of the guitar. Any flaws on the instrument are purely cosmetic and are minor and each guitar is otherwise in A1 condition with a full Faith warranty.

Faith guitars are carefully designed by respected luthier Patrick Eggle and are manufactured to his exacting specifications, using quality selected tonewoods - Namely solid Englemann Spruce Tops and Solid Mahogany back and sides - as well as a 2-Stage satin finish.

What Patrick says about the Faith Guitars and the Faith Naked Series:

"The use of solid tonewood is central to the sound of all Faith Guitars. Although laminated woods have their place in instrument building, wherever possible solid woods are preferable, as just like a fine wine, solid wood will mature and improve over time, as will the instrument's tone."

-

"As with many of my own PJE instruments, I selected Solid Englemann Spruce for the tops of all Faith guitars. These slow-growing trees found mainly at altitude in and around North America have been chosen for their special acoustic properties for many years. The colours can range from a stark white to cream with pronounced vertical grain evident throughout. Tonally, Spruce will give a clear, crisp tone with high levels of harmonic articulation especially when matched to specific tonewoods on the back and sides of the instrument"

-

"In my experience, satin finished guitars sound livelier: the Natural series and Trembesi series are testament to this.

The unrestrained tonewood can move more freely therefore allowing more sympathetic resonance throughout the instrument, creating a more naturally 'woody' tone. This tone is equally evident in the Naked Series which has a simple 2-stage satin finish on the top, back and sides. The Naked series are stripped of pretty much all decoration, leaving the beating heart of the guitar in its un-lacquered glory."

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
