This Limited Run from PRS adds an exotic wood body and unique look for a number of models. We've chosen the combinations we think you'll like best here at Sound Affects - these are some eye catching guitars, and we hope that some of the new wood choices available may provide a more ideal tonal platform over traditional Mahogany construction for some.

Please note that the current image is just an example image - Further images can be sent on request.

The PRS SE Custom 22 adds a more vintage tone and feel to the traditional Custom platform. This guitar has a pronounced mid-range and clarity that provides a sweet, full tonal base, allowing it to easily sit in the mix of your band or recording. Like its 24-fret brother, the SE Custom 22 sports a 25” scale length - Additional appointments include dual humbuckers with a volume, tone, and 3-way toggle switch and PRS-designed tremolo bridge. For players who grew up on 22 frets, the SE Custom 22 is a solid choice that will take anything you throw at it.

The PRS SE line of electric and acoustic guitars offer exceptional value for money providing exceptional quality and components at a price any guitarist can afford. The first PRS SE Model to be introduced was the PRS SE Santana in 2001, Carlos Santana is a long standing PRS endorsee and has been honoured with several signature models over the years. Carlos Santana wanted a signature model that his students could afford, hence the PRS ‘Student Edition’ was born. Since its introduction in 2001 the SE Line has been expanded to feature 19 models including 11 signature models. One of the most popular SE signature models comes from another long standing PRS endorsee, Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge. All PRS SE models feature the classic PRS silhouettes and most now have the option of the classic PRS Bird Inlays on the fretboard. The guitars are designed by the team at PRS and then built in carefully selected factories in Korea, all the hardware and pickups are designed by PRS using the same technology and experience as their USA models. In late 2011 PRS Introduced a new range of SE Acoustics which once again raised the bar for what can be expected from a guitar sub £1000. We believe PRS SE guitars to be the best guitars available for under £1000, many of the models fall well below this price point starting at just £399.00. The PRS SE range is perfect for a beginner or professional alike providing unparalleled quality, tone and value for money.

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
