Knaggs Guitars was founded in 2009 by World renowned designer and luthier Joe Knaggs and Branding/Marketing expert Peter Wolf, two well respected industry veterans with a vast history and experience in their respective fields.

Joe Knaggs is a former master-builder for PRS Guitars and we key in the development of several famous PRS Models including the Hollowbody, Mira & Stala Models. He was also one of the most respected & requested Private Stock Builders and eventually became in charge of the Private Stock program.

All designs/creations are named after American Indian river names. Chesapeake line models Choptank, Severn, Potomac & Patuxent are named after tributaries to the Chesapeake Bay while the Influence line Kenai, Keya, Chena, Sheyenne are named after rivers in North America. Wood & Materials are carefully selected and processes are state-of the art. A skilled team of experienced senior guitar builders are making sure the end result is as good as it can possibly be: creating the finest instruments and providing the best tools for players and guitar aficionados. We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
