This Gretsch George Harrison model is in excellent condition and includes the original deluxe tweed case. The G6128T-GH George Harrison SIGNATURE Duo Jet® guitar celebrates the legacy of George Harrison—modeled on the instrument that the legendary guitarist often referred to as his “first real decent guitar.” The GH6128T-GH offers the distinctive appointments and modifications found on Harrison’s original 1957 Gretsch® Duo Jet, which he purchased secondhand in the early 1960s.
Features include a lightweight mid-’50s-style chambered body, Bigsby® B3C tailpiece with a black Phillips head tremolo arm pivot bolt, and an offset strap button on lower bout. Other features include three-ply body binding (white-black-white), single-ply white neck and headstock binding, 12"-radius 22-fret rosewood fingerboard hump-block pearloid inlays, two single-coil DynaSonic™ single-coil pickups, vintage-style “rocking bar” bridge with rosewood base, silver plexi pickguard, chrome-plated Grover® V98CM Sta-Tite™ tuners, Gretsch “G-Arrow" control knobs, chrome-plated hardware, Harrison’s signature on the truss rod cover and a premium tweed hardshell case.
We Welcome Part Exchange
We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.
How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.
You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
