From the popular run in 2011 from Fender, the 'Tele-bration' series saw the release of 12 different commemorative designs of the Fender Telecaster to celebrate 60 years of the iconic instrument. The '62 Reissue was released in Olympic White with a black binding along the body and some figured block fingerboard inlays.

This '62 has been well looked after, but please note that there are some indentations on the top of the body near the binding in the vicinity of where the bottom strap button is, and there is also a small indentation on the back of the body as well. The pickguard has some minor surface scratching as well from play, but the guitar is all and all in good condition.

The guitar also comes with its original case.

Specification

On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a revolutionary instrument that would usher in whole new eras of musical innovation and excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an archetypal electric guitar with a long and storied history.

The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster, and we´re celebrating its 60th anniversary all year with 12 very special "Tele-bration" models that stay inside the Telecaster´s famously elegant lines while offering the finest and most unusual takes on the instrument´s past, present and future. After the Telecaster blazed a new trail through the 1950's, a new version featuring a bound body-the Telecaster Custom-was introduced in the early 1960's.

Our ´62 Telecaster pays striking homage to that guitar, with an Olympic White lacquer finish, black binding and white pearloid block inlays on a rosewood fingerboard.

We Welcome Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges on items over £500. We realise that sometimes you need to “move something on” to get your new guitar. We give fair prices and once agreed we stick to them. The only thing we ask is that you accurately describe your guitar. We have plenty of happy customers from our part exchange scheme.

How it works – If you are local, you can simply call in. If you are not local we will assess your guitar and give you a valuation via phone/e-mail (we may ask for pictures). Once the price is agreed, we always stick to it, and your new guitar will be removed from the market so the deal can be concluded.

You can either send us your guitar, or we can use our courier to pick up for a small charge (UK only). Once the guitar is with us and any balance is paid we can dispatch your new guitar.
